Non-combustible, insulating, self - adhesive pads for poles of lithium - ion batteries type 18650.
They are needed when making a package of batteries with spot welding or soldering, to prevent shortening between + pole and - the outer casing of the battery.
For large discharges, the terminals (wires) between the poles, as well as the poles of the batteries heat up a lot and these pads do not allow when melting the insulation of the wire or the outer shell of the battery case, to give a short.
